Hello everyone!
Today, I come to present you some news from yuairet media. This same message is written in Spanish in another post to make this project bigger.
Now, let’s get started.
1:
At the moment, it’s not even a beta version, although considering how advanced the source code is, it could easily be one, and it could even be a public version. But even my group of beta testers doesn’t have it, only one of them who is helping me solve issues in the code.
So why don’t you release at least the beta version to your beta testers?
Simple. I think I got too excited and wanted to implement many things at once, without considering the consequences when inserting all the code into my main website.
In Google Sites, when creating a website that uses JavaScript or other languages, certain modifications need to be made for the page to function correctly.
And despite the fact that the source code is ready, I couldn’t do a release because there are times when the page works great, but many other times Google Sites gives us a strange error when converting the video to audio.
I can’t paste it here, but basically, the error indicates that a section of the code is causing incompatibilities in the entire section.
2: I don’t think I’m ready to do a release even if everything is ready because I am currently promoting the password generator.
Putting that aside, let me tell you about the news.
1: The website is now capable of almost instantly converting video to audio when dealing with not very heavy videos.
2: To download the converted audio, a link generated thanks to the browser’s memory is used, making an external link unnecessary. In a way, this is better because only the owner of the audio can download the content, and they can only download it once. When the website is closed, that link no longer works.
3: While I always want to create projects that provide lightweight files, in this case, I prioritized the audio quality, which means the file size is the same as the original video. This shouldn’t come as a surprise since there are few web converters that actually reduce the file size without affecting the audio quality.
In this case, I managed to maintain the same file size but ensure that the quality is just as good as in the original video, and most importantly, the file doesn’t break when downloaded.
4: I’m trying to implement a menu where the user can choose the desired audio quality, which will affect the file size. However, this is still in beta phase as I haven’t achieved very good results yet.
5: When accessing the website, you will have an introductory video embedded at the end of the page.
That’s all I’ve done so far, but I assure you that I’m working very hard to make the website as good as possible and free of errors.
Thank you all for reading.
